Farmers of NKR told the Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan about their problems
Last week at the Chamber of entrepreneurs of NKR was held a meeting of local agricultural producers with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken". Entrepreneurs from all 13 districts of the region took took part in the meeting organized in the form of a videoconference.
The initiator of the meeting is NGO "Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan".
"As you know, every year we organize the congress, inviting delegates from all regions of the country, which includes not only farmers, but also representatives of the Government, the Presidential Administration, the different parties, etc. This year, taking into account the proposals of agricultural producers, we decided to leave the region to hear about the urgent problems of the farmers. Your region is the fifth that we visit", - said in his speech, the President of the NGO "Union of Farmers of Kazakhstan" Auezkhan Darinov.
By the way, the members of the metropolitan delegation were interested to hear not only the current problems of farmers, but also their views on issues such as agricultural cooperation, and the recent changes that have touched the issues of state and special tax regimes.
"On our part, we want to tell farmers about the new law "On Agricultural Cooperation", about how it is developed in the country and how North Kazakhstani agrarians participate it. In addition, approaches to taxation of subjects of agrarian and industrial complex are currently discussed, and we want to consult on certain moments with farmers, to understand how these changes are justified and whether they really improve the state of small agricultural enterprises. For example, we are concerned with the sales tax. Previously, farmers did not pay VAT, and now under new approaches will be paid sales tax at a rate of about 5 percent. We believe that for the agricultural enterprises, it is very hard. We offer to apply a 70 percent benefit", - says the director of the Department of Agribusiness and Food Industry NCE RK" Atameken "Rustem Kurmanov.
At the same time, he stressed that NCE plans to study financial models of individual farms in order to make suggestions and corrections on these issues.
By the way, we do not have to argue about the usefulness of such meetings in the regions. North Kazakhstani farmers have a lot of questions which they posed during the meeting with representatives of the capital's delegation.
For example, the farmers of the district named after Magzhan Zhumabaeva are interested in the question of subsidizing the cultivation of fodder, as from 2016 were adopted changes, in compliance with which were completely abolished subsidies per hectare, instead of them were adopted investment subsidies. By the way, the latest changes, farmers were quite pleased. Because now the state will subsidize not only fodder, but also 30% of the costs of the purchase of equipment. These are investment subsidies.
In addition to state subsidies, farmers are interested in crop insurance, preparation for spring-field works, procurement of fuel and lubricants, agricultural cooperation and other benefits, to which members of the metropolitan delegation gave quite exhaustive answers.
