Aktobe and Kyzylorda regions will develop interregional cooperation
Days of Kyzylorda region are held in Aktobe, in the course of which the regional leaders have agreed on mutual cooperation and the expansion of inter-regional relations
In accordance with the instruction of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the development of interregional cooperation in the Aktobe region from February 2016 was established work on the direct supply of vegetables and other products from the southern regions of the country and Kostanay region.
The mechanism of inter-regional cooperation has already shown its effectiveness.
"For example, prior to establishment of inter-regional cooperation with the Kyzylorda region the price of rice in the region was around 220 tenge, now it is 150 tenge, the average price of a kilogram of fish was 500 tenge, thanks to the supply from Kyzylorda region, the cost decreased to 300 tenge, table salt and other products became also cheaper", - said akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev, stressing that the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the development of inter-regional relations in the interests of the population and will strengthen the work on import substitution and economic development of regions.
The memorandum, which was signed between the parties, stipulates the basic concepts and directions of interregional cooperation between the regions.
So, the authorities of the two neighboring regions intend to joint efforts on import substitution and cheaper products for consumers: today were signed more than 30 agreements on mutual deliveries of goods to the amount of about 3, 3 billion tenge.
In particular, Aktobe manufacturers of industrial products will supply to the neighboring region the grinding balls, crushed stone, red bricks, trailers, fire fighting equipment and fire extinguishers, insulated pipes, fittings, composite fiberglass pipe, polymer and composite hatches and manholes, traffic light equipment.
Kyzylorda pledged to supply to Aktobe region until the end of 2016 11 thousand tons of food and agricultural products at manufacturers’ prices. Kyzylorda farmers intend to purchase breeding stock in the Aktobe region.
The Memorandum provides for mutual cooperation of Aktobe and Kyzylorda regions in matters of tourism development, improvement of the efficiency of the traditional and opening of new tourist routes, expansion of the diversity of tourism. Thus, in the framework of cooperation the first tourist route "Aktobe-Baikonur-Kyzylorda", thanks to which tourists of Aktobe region will be able to visit historical and recreational areas of Kyzylorda region, as well as the cosmodrome "Baikonur", to see the launch of the missiles. In turn, the tourists of Kyzylorda region will visit attractions of Aktobe region, including chalk mountains Aktolagay, memorials "Kobylandy Batyr", "Abat Baytak", Irgiz-Turgai reserve.
