"We opened in all regions Business Support Centers supporting and business schools, where we train people, help, advise them on all issues. And as a result of the work of these centers, we see that a very large number of rural population, which has no business experience, does not know where to start from", - said Altaev.

Nurzhan Altaev added that new entrepreneurs are interested in the accessibility to funds. Speaking about this, Deputy Chairman of NCE noted that "many financial institutions in rural areas do not provide loans, considering it a high risk".

"In parallel we launched the program of micro-loans to small business. We are attracted through private equity funds and sponsorship 1.5 billion tenge, and we implement it in five regions - Almaty, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Kostanai, Mangistau regions", - said N. Altaev, adding that these regions allocated to the program from the local budget about half a billion tenge".

According to Deputy Chairman of the Board of NCE, the "Atameken" program has certain differences from the other employment programs. For example, the maximum loan amount varies from 3 to 16 million tenge. On a parity basis these funds are allocated, providing loans to borrowers in rural areas at a rate of not more than 7% for up to five years.

"We suggest to consider our microloan program, which today is the most accessible to the rural population, and maybe to use our microcredit organizations", - Nurzhan Altaev proposed to the members of the Government.
