As part of the EXPO-2017, it is planned to hold a so-called "Food Week" in Kokshetau

This decision was made by representatives of catering industry, who took part at the round table to discuss issues of dual training within the dual training. The meeting was organized by the Regional Chamber. The "Food Week" event, according to participants of the meeting will not only popularize this area, but will also create conditions for the creation of a common information field.

Returning to the main topic of discussion, the director of RCE Erkebulan Bayakhmetov said: "The work on the implementation of the dual training under the program of social modernization of our country": 20 Steps to a society of universal labor" puts great challenges and opens up new prospects for us. We are going to pay much attention to the problem of staff training, which is in demand at the labor market, issues of vocational and social adaptation of future specialists".

Today, dual training covered 38 colleges of the region. There are 21 thousand people, majoring in 94 trades and 139 qualifications. About 60% are future labor workers.

RCE as part of the "Roadmap of dual training" signed 50 tripartite agreements with 16 colleges and 53 social enterprises, covering 791 students, majoring in 15 different fields.

The problems raised by the participants are not new, but such a platform allows both parties concerned – social partners to ask questions directly.

In particular, according to the director of KSE "Construction College #1” in Kokshetau Alpysbai Omarov, currently there are 150 people (students of second and third years) undergo practical training. Tripartite agreements were signed with all.

"However, 60% of practical training are not paid. Students are accepted as interns for a period of two weeks to a month. And, of course, they have no motivation. For us the main problem – there are not enough stable employers. We put big hopes on the Chamber in assisting with applications for employment", - says Alpysbay Omarov.

The production foreman of Agro-technical College # 3 the village of Krasny Yar Irina Ivashkevich  agreed with the same problem - the unpaid production practices. "Perhaps it would be possible to consider any compensation at a student rate", - she said.

Most employers, in turn, noted the poor skills of students. However, there are exceptions.

"I will immediately hire a motivated young person. In fact, it all depends on their personal motivation", - said the director of the lounge-bar “Sarmat” Gulmira Kusain.

After some discussion, the roundtable participants agreed that in order to improve the effectiveness of the tripartite partnership, it is necessary to conduct  joint labor market analysis to determine the need for the required staff (their number, competences, etc.)

In addition, it was decided to create an association of representatives of the catering for a more detailed study of common problems.
