Russian tourism and "Atameken" agreed to work together to develop the tourism industry

Today in Moscow, the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism and NCE RK "Atameken" signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of tourism

The document was signed by the Head of the Federal Tourism Agency Oleg Safonov, Deputy Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan Yuliya Yakupbaeva.

The cooperation is expected in the following areas: the promotion and popularization of activities of the Parties; creation of a platform for cooperation and establishment of partnerships between enterprises and organizations of the Parties; expert assistance in the development of the tourist industry; support and joint activities to promote cooperation in the field of tourism; to develop common approaches for the development of integration processes within the EAEU.

The parties also undertake to create the necessary conditions for the active participation of stakeholders of the tourism industry of both countries in the workshops, exhibitions, conferences and other similar events held in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, exchange experience in the field of support and promotion of the tourist business, and business information which presents interest for Kazakhstani and Russian entrepreneurs, whose activities are aimed at the development of tourist areas. Support will also be provided in the training and upgrading of personnel, etc.

During the meeting, organized with the support of the Trade Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, the sides discussed issues of mutual cooperation in the framework of bilateral tourism promotion, creation of cross-border tourist routes, transport and logistics capacities, visa and immigration formalities, etc.

The two sides also plan to develop tourist destinations within the EAEU market.

It was agreed that in the framework of the memorandum will be developed a plan of concrete measures between the parties.
