Arkalyk woman complained on barriers in doing business

At the monotown was held a visiting session of the Council of Business Women of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanai region in order to introduce businesswomen to support tools of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", to find out what problems trouble  the business community and discuss mechanisms for systematic solutions.

Aigul Halizina shared the difficult situation of business practices. This year, due to reduced volumes of trade, she decided to rent the vacant buildings of the former department store for a hair salon. However, the good idea, at first glance, remained unrealized.

"In order to rent a building for a hairdresser, you need not just to empty it, but also to renew the document. I applied for, and paid for the sketch I have given permission for the conversion. But they said that they need to prepare a draft project, and these are additional costs. Well, I'm going to Kostanay to get papers, but here they tell me that I need to re-equip it, then it is necessary to attach the ramp for the disabled people. And if, as in my case, it is technically impossible, it is necessary to install a special lift. And it costs 600 thousand tenge, I simply don’t have such money. So look, I spent about three months only on preparation of all documents and travel to the city. As a result, the building is empty. Perhaps in such cases, it makes sense to simplify the procedure? It is the same business, it is necessary only to change the sign and to continue work, especially that there are ones willing to work immediately", - said Aigul Khalizina.

So far in Arkalyk it remains an urgent problem of funding in banks. The lack of collateral and high interest rates prevent women with entrepreneurial initiative to open a business. In this regard, the members of the Council reminded to the participants about the possibility of an alternative lending. For example, LLP "Microfinance organization" Atameken Kostanay "today provide loans of up to three years and just under 4% from the amount annually.

At the meeting were cited more successful examples of realized projects. In particular, the owner of one of the hardware stores Gulzira Seydakhanova shared her experience of business expansion.

"Only through detailed consultations and personal support of the chair of the Council of business women, I was able to get a loan and to expand the range of goods. In business consultation and even moral support are very important and it is good that the aid reaches those remote towns like ours", - stressed the businesswoman.
