It is necessary to restore order at the markets
In anticipation of EXPO-2017 the owners of retail outlets of the capital’s markets are encouraged to bring them in proper order
Sanitary state of the markets, the problems and solutions were discussed on the same "round table", which was organized by the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Astana and the Department of Consumer Protection of the capital of MNE RK.
The participants noted that today there are 15 food markets in the capital, but still there is a number of problems in this sphere in the city, including the unauthorized trade, non-compliance on the part of the owners of markets to the rules of the organization of their activities.
Employees of the department noted that some catering points and trade points, service stations, tire changers, bus parking lots, set in the adjacent market areas, have unpresentable appearance, as they are unsanitary and overcrowded. Especially noticeable the situation is around the markets, located along the highway Alash.
As a result of the discussion to bring the market into compliance with health requirements, the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan №131 dated by 05.02.2003 the "Rules of the organization of trading markets", the administration of markets is advised to ensure landscaping of markets and equipment of trading places with modern trading devices, equipment for storage of products. It is also recommended to identify and to equip a room for the storage of garbage, taking into account the norms, to hire additional cleaning staff with regard to their work in the evening hours.
"Markets should not allow the placement of outlets, including the trade of fruits and vegetables, in the parking zone. The markets should have strict zoning of trade by product and goods. The areas for sale of food should have washing compartments for washing equipment and inventory, catering facilities should be located only in stationary buildings connected to the centralized water supply and sewerage networks, with the presence of hot running water", - said the representative of the Department.
Representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs urged the entrepreneurs to equip their trading areas with signs, indicating the brand name, address, mode of operation, phone number, and the owners of the markets should maintain records of working entrepreneurs, suppliers, their activities, contact information, availability of documents (for products medical books of personnel, etc.).
On the same day at the Chamber of Entrepreneurs was held public reception of SME with the head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana city Tlegenov Kaskinen.
The main topic of discussion was the personal matters of the entrepreneurs of the capital related to relationship with government agencies in terms of compliance and quality standards for public services, the timing of issuance of final documents, etc.
In 2016 the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Astana received 302 appeals within the line of business protection, of which 93 are solved today positively.
