The meat from Kyzylorda can appear on the shelves of Baghdad
The company-leader of Iraq in the field of importing meat visited the Kyzylorda region The head of the company "AlHasanat LTD" Ali Zhuma paid a visit to the Kyzylorda region and met with entrepreneurs. This company is one of the leading companies in Iraq's meat import market. The company, which is located in large cities of Iraq and has refrigerators with a capacity of 7,000 tons per month, purchases most of the meat from the United States, Ukraine and India. Now it wants to establish cooperation with Kazakhstan.
The head of the department of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kyzylorda region Serikov Zhasulan reported on what meat is required for Iraqis: "Today the population of Iraq has about 37 million people. There are forecasts that by 2050 this figure will increase to 87 million. Therefore, the demand for meat is very high in this country. For example, 1 kg of lamb costs an average of about 4,500-4,800 tenge. The head of Al Hasanat LTD said that he wants to buy live lambs and frozen lamb. The requirements: not more than 12-18 months from the genus, do not exceed 18-20 kg. During the meeting, they agreed to work together and a Memorandum was signed between the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and Al Hasanat LTD". After the meeting, an entrepreneur from Iraq visited the Zhanakorgan and Syrdarya districts and got acquainted with the work of the farm “Kobeldes”, farm “Bakhytzhan “, LLP “Yntymak” and farm Abay Daulet.
