Educational labs opened in Astana
Each student will be able to develop his entrepreneurial skills
The development of small and medium-sized businesses in the country has significantly intensified in recent years. Support for youth start-ups and projects is growing every year.
For example, at Karaganda State University was held an official opening of the Center for Youth Entrepreneurship within the framework of the 1st Republican Youth Entrepreneurship Forum. The Center has created laboratories that are equipped with modern equipment and the necessary educational material. The site allows to conduct various events in a discussion format.
"We plan to involve existing entrepreneurs for generating student ideas, with the further possibility of commercializing the best projects. Today, we are already supported and actively working with large companies, such as the Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken, Damu Foundation, JSC “Saryarka”, National Offices “Enactus Kazakhstan”, KPMG, ERG, Department of Economics Zhibek Khusainova.
The University actively cooperates with the business administration of the region, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, business associations.
"We are happy to be present at the opening of the center. The Chamber of Entrepreneurs pays much attention to the formation and development of entrepreneurial skills in the student environment of higher education institutions and colleges. Young people need to set forth to the implementation of their ideas, and boldly take up not just for the cause, but for their own business", - encourages the youth director of the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs Yernar Kulpeisov.
Also, the Forum was timed to coincide with the 5th anniversary of the Enactus national office. As it was noted by the President of Enactus Kazakhstan, Erzhanova Albina, it is necessary to implement the entrepreneurial ideas at the university.
"It is difficult to find a job immediately after graduating from high school. And it's easy for our guys with Enactus. They are noticed during competitions, presentations of projects. They are invited to the leading companies of Kazakhstan", - says Albina Yerzhanova.
On the basis of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs operate three universities, this is the Karaganda State University, KEU and KSTU, majoring in "Economics" and "Finance". With the assistance of the Chamber and the Eurasian Group ERG, a project on the development of the ecosystem of youth entrepreneurship in the student environment is being implemented on the basis of three universities. Business schools are opened in 23 colleges of the region. Protection of the best business projects of students is held on the basis of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs. 12 students are recommended for training in the Chamber under the Business Advisor program. To date, more than 50 students of these schools have opened their business.
