The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan  with the support of UN Women in Kazakhstan, the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed an electronic catalogue "100 Ideas for Women's Entrepreneurship" as a tool for training and capacity building of female entrepreneurs for further business activity.

On December 6, the catalogue was presented at the Chamber's Press Centre with the participation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other interested parties.

"This will be an excellent training tool for those who are just planning to start their own business but do not have sufficient experience and knowledge. Above all, the catalogue was developed in close cooperation with the business community, government organizations and expert community to ensure quality content," the participants said.

The project has already taken the first step towards the main goal of supporting new forms of women's entrepreneurship and further consolidating the potential of businesswomen in all regions of the country, especially in rural areas. The Catalogue should become a single guide for providing organizational, methodological, consulting and information assistance to novice women entrepreneurs, supporting promising business ideas and projects and sharing the experience of professional women entrepreneurs in the most effective ways of economic development. The results of the work will be used to make further decisions on improving the activities of the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and develop an effective family and gender policy.

Also, the Businesswomen's Council under the Atameken NCE RK, as a generator of ideas, will recommend this catalogue to the women of the country to strengthen the entrepreneurial activity of women living in the regions.
