July: The project “Bastau Business”

In July 2016 the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" has launched a pilot project to train rural residents to the basics of business "Bastau Business” in Munaily District of Mangistau region

The aim of the project on teaching entrepreneurial skills “Bastau Business" – is an increase in economic activity of the rural population through the attraction of self-employed and unemployed population to entrepreneurial activity.

Next, the project was implemented in two regions: Temir District of Aktobe region, town of Zhanaozen, the Mangistau region.

Starting from the next year, the project “Bastau Business" will be implemented in the framework of the state program. There were identified 80 rural districts in 14 regions of Kazakhstan in 2017, all the 160 rural districts will be covered in 2018. It is planned that 15 thousand people will be trained within the frames of the training tool “Bastau” in 2017 , 18 thousand in 2018, 22 thousand in 2019 , 26 thousand in 2020, 30 thousand people in 2021.
