Rashida Shaikenova What will give the enlargement of associations
Today, we have a favorable situation for amalgamation
Director of ALE "Self-Regulated Kazakhstani Tourism Association" Rashida Shaykenova commented on the issue of unification of the Association of Kazakhstan.
"In the emerging civil society there is a desire to actively open these associations. No matter how many associations there were, they were created to carry out useful activities", - Rashida Shaikenova said.
The director of ALE "Self-Regulated Kazakhstani Tourism Association" noted that her attitude to the enlargements of the association is a little different.
"Today's policy of our Government is the transfer of some functions to the market. The law of self-regulating organizations was created five years ago, then it was postponed. Now the law is working again. Tourism is a multi-vector industry, we have air agencies, tour operators and so on. This is a fairly large segment", - Rashid Shaikenova explained.
A self-regulating organization is a non-profit organization in the form of an association or other organizational and legal form established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on voluntary or compulsory membership, participation of the subjects of private entrepreneurship or subjects of professional activity on the basis of the commonality of activity, industry, market of manufactured goods, works and services.
Rashida Shaikenova added that each organization chooses a more interesting direction for them and moves in this direction.
"Our association works in all directions. We have a lot of experience. We solve problems and issues of the industry in the framework of this legislation", - Rashida Shaikenova emphasized.
She noted that the organization has long been performing some functions.
"We maintain a register of travel agents, guides and guides. We are engaged in these registers in order to regulate the market. When the law "On Self-Regulating Organizations" came out, having discussed with colleagues the issue of creating an SRO, which will receive from our branch ministry some functions that we have been doing for a long time. There is a formal transfer here", - Rashida Shaikenova said.
Director of ALE "Self-Regulated Kazakhstani Tourism Association" added that no one regulates how much SRO should be in one industry. They can be created everywhere. It is only necessary to study the market segment, look at industry associations and see which of them is ready to present themselves as SRO.
"We found it is necessary to unite with associations. There is a good situation for the development of tourism in the country. It is evident how the Government tries to assist our industry turned now and how the regional authorities began to work. Today, there is a favorable situation for the fact that to unite and work productively to develop the tourism industry in Kazakhstan. We did it and we very much hope that the ministry will support us in this", - Rashida Shaikenova said.
The speaker also noted that there is a situation when small non-functioning associations were created.
"The most common mistake is when the directors of travel agencies create associations. No participant in the tourism market will go to the association, in which its competitor is leading", - Rashid Shaykenova explained.
The director of ALE "Self-Regulated Kazakhstani Tourism Association" believes that it is necessary to unite in order to make a viable core.
"We are united and intend to work together, developing and solving tourism issues," concluded Rashida Shaikenova.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Self-Regulation", there was a merger of the largest associations in the field of tourism. Kazakhstani Tourism Association together with ALE "Capital Association of Tourism" and ALE "National Association of the Tourism Industry" created ALE "Self-Regulated Kazakhstani Tourist Association".
