Meirbek Mazhitov resigned as a head of the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Astana and was appointed the head the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan
By the decision of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken", Meirbek Sabyrovich Mazhitov was appointed the Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Meirbek Mazhitov was born in 1978 in Akmola region in Kokshetau.
He graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Kokshetau State University. In 2008 he took master's degree at KIMEP in “business administration for management training”.
He has held various management positions in commercial structures and NGOs. In 2006, he was among those involved in the creation of the Kazakhstani Association of Entrepreneurs "KAZKA", where he served as a Director-General.
He became the head of the Metropolitan Chamber of entrepreneurs in 2013. During this time, he built a strategic partnership with government agencies, as well as managed to execute systematic work and to establish a constructive dialogue on representation of business interests in various state structures of the capital.
Meirbek Mazhitov is the initiator of a number of projects that are popular among the business community of the capital (“Startup Forum”, “Astana Forum of employment” and so on.).
For active civil position he received a letter of gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For his contribution to the economic development of the country he was awarded with the Diploma of Merit of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
