YELDOS RAMAZANOV APPOINTED VICE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND SPORT

Yeldos Ramazanov has been appointed as new vice minister of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yeldos Ramazanov was born on November 15, 1971 in the Karaganda region. He graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, a Diploma in Economics, the Buketov Karaganda State University, a Diploma in Law.

He began his professional career back in 1992 in commercial sector and national companies. He was a head of the economic analysis sector of the Akmola branch of BankTuranAlem CJSC, worked as a deputy head of the Astana Temir Zholy state enterprise, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, head of the Astana Financial and Economic Center, deputy head of the Chief Finance and Accounting Department of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, deputy general director of Intertrade GmbH (Germany), financial director of Agrochemistry LLP.

In 2004-2006, he worked as a deputy director of the Department of Economics and Finance, head of the Administration of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Subsequently, he served as an executive director of the Kazenergy Public Fund, director of the information and analytical center of Rauan Media Group. He led the office of the General Director of KazTransGas JSC, worked as a deputy chairman of the Management Board of NC Zhetisu Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC and deputy general director of the Berkut Financial and Industrial Corporation.

In 2011–2012 he worked as a vice president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputy chairman of the Board of the National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan “Atameken Union”. From September 2013 he was a head of the office of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From January 2016 he held the position of deputy chairman of the Board of Atameken NCE RK.

Alongside since 2018 Yeldos Ramazanov was an advisor to the Chairman of the Combat and Strength Sports Confederation, general director of the Combat and Strength Sports Confederation and deputy general secretary of the National Olympic Committee. He was a president of the Federation of Judo and vice-president of the Qazaq Kuresi Federation of Kazakhstan.
