Kazakh businessmen took part in the first exhibition of the goods of the SCO
The Kazakh Chamber of Commerce made it possible for representatives of the national business community to promote business activities and to attract foreign investors in a new format
For this purpose, it organized a three-day business mission to the city of Xi'an, where local companies for the first time took part in the first international exhibition of the goods of the SCO countries. The total area of the exhibition area is 50 thousand m2, where were presented hundreds of companies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The participants noted the enormity of the event, suddenly, which brought together representatives of business circles of different countries.
During the exhibition, the National exhibition stand showed a wide range of products: goods of milling companies, oil and fat products, honey, vegetable oil, industrial filters and filter elements, souvenirs and processed fish products and tourism. Kazakh enterprises had an opportunity to present their products and services on the market of the People's Republic of China, as a result, there were reached agreements on delivery of Kazakh products to the Chinese market. Domestic producers were evaluated by participating countries of the SCO, such as Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as observer-countries: Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
A key focus of the exhibition is to enhance cooperation in the reconstruction of the Great Silk Road, promoting common development, deepening regional cooperation and promoting the sustainable growth of the SCO countries.
"Today, the economy is at a new stage of its development. With the accession to the WTO, world countries are learning more about the specifics of domestic business. Therefore, these industry events and business tours allow our entrepreneurs not only be in the midst of global economic trends and evolve with the times, but also to be among competitive ones", - said chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan Meirbek Mazhitov.
