The Heads of the States of the EAEU signed a package of documents on implementation of WTO commitments in EAEU standards
This was announced today at a press briefing following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Union, which takes place in the resort area Burabay in Akmola region by the chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko.
"In connection with the accession of Kazakhstan to the WTO, Heads of State received all the documents, ensuring implementation of these decisions in the regulations of the Union, which, on the one hand, will allow to extend the commitments made by Kazakhstan upon accession to the WTO in the Kazakhstani market, on the other hand, it will allow to build an administration system so as to avoid occurrence of different rates, i.e. to ensure no damage to the partners- countries of the Union", - said Khristenko.
According to Khristenko, these solutions "will enter into force after the ratification procedures in the Parliaments of the member-states". "And, the heads of states hope that this process should be completed in national parliaments until 15th of December", - said V. Khristenko.
