The largest agricultural production cooperative "Trading Corporation AIC" is being formed in Almaty region
On 29th of October 2015 the President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law "On agricultural cooperatives", which provides the basis for the economic unification of various agricultural producers. The law is aimed at the implementation of the Plan of the nation - 100 concrete steps to implement the five institutional reforms and comprehensive regulation of the agricultural cooperatives and their associations.
On 28th of December at Akimat of Enbekshikazakh district was held a meeting with representatives of peasants and farmers regarding formation of an agricultural production cooperative "Trading Corporation of agriculture". The main activity of the cooperative: harvesting (slaughter), processing, storage and sale of products and raw materials of animal origin (meat processing).
The initiative group, headed by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" and the Association of veterinarians of Kazakhstan, offered to more than 60 heads of livestock farms of Almaty region to form a cooperative in order to increase their income by increasing output, improving the quality of meat and expansion in markets of Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, China and some other countries. This cooperative will consist of animal, poultry, fish breeding farms, and arable enterprises, which supply fodder for cattle-breeding complexes.
The strategic objective of the cooperative "Trading Corporation of AIC" is to increase the country's export potential. The creation of this cooperative will allow domestic producers to obtain unsecured loans, subsidies and the application of a special tax regime during the sale of manufactured products that will be competitive in the markets of WTO and EAEU in terms of export of quality meat from Kazakhstan.
