Timur Kulibayev: "It is important to ensure competitiveness of domestic business"

During the visit, he familiarized himself with the work of a domestic plant for the calcination of petroleum coke LLP "UPNK-PV", which is located on the territory of free economic zone "Pavlodar". The plant operates since 2015 within the SPFIID and produces 205 thousand tons of goods each year. Then Timur Kulibayev attended the meeting of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Pavlodar region, where was present Akim of the region Bolat Bakauov.

"Pavlodar region – is a major industrial center of Kazakhstan, which presents a diversified industrial complex. The Chairman of the Presidium of "Atameken" also focused on the importance of conclusion of long-term contracts between domestic producers and big business, participation in public procurement.

Regional chambers should speed up work on the interaction of businesses in this area. It is important to ensure access of local producers to participation in procurements. Timur Kulibayev urged businessmen to participate actively in the ongoing work.
