Foreign Trade of Chamber Kazakhstan consistently implements strategic goals and objectives, aimed at developing the country's trade and economic relations, integrating hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises with the external market. "In the first quarter, FTC held three important meetings of Business Councils with participation of business circles of Kazakhstan and Iran, the Arab Republic of Egypt, it organized 6 trade missions to Russia, Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Over 400 local entrepreneurs were involved as a result of the conducted measures", - said the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan Meirbek Mazhitov.
The first result of the bilateral cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran after the lifting of sanctions has become a long-term commercial contract for the supply of beef and mutton in the amount of 30 million US dollars.
Grain from Akmola, flour and pasta from Aktobe, rice from Kyzylorda and canties from Kostanai and cement from Taraz will be exported to Tajikistan. Contract worth more than 4 million US dollars was signed between the Tajik and domestic entrepreneurs.
With the assistance of the FTC was opened the first trading house in Kabul, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. There are results of the bilateral meetings of the business community of the two countries. As a result of business negotiations Kazakh grain and flour products in the amount of more than 700 000 US dollars will be exported to Afghanistan.
With the participation of Kazakhstani companies were organized trade-economic missions to Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and the Moscow region. Kazakhstani entrepreneurs conducted effective negotiations with businessmen of Sverdlovsk region, on the basis of which was signed a contract between JSC "KaskorMashzavod" and LLC "Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant" for the supply of components from Russia to Kazakhstan. In addition, the interest for cooperation was shown by LLP "KazRosSnabKompani" and LLC "Keyterinburg" to establish a joint venture on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the cultivation of agricultural products and its deep processing.
