China opens the year of tourism in Kazakhstan
Our countries have already exchanged lists of tour operators, who are responsible for sending and hosting of tourists from China
July 1, 2016 will be the date of the official beginning of the organization of group tours of Chinese tourist groups to Kazakhstan in the framework of the "Year of Chinese Tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan" reports the press service of the Ministry for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.
The agreement was reached within the frames of the "Memorandum of Understanding between MID RK and the State Office on Tourism Affairs in China on simplification of group tourist trips of Chinese citizens to the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the increase of tourist flow, which was signed on December 14, 2015 in Beijing, the Chinese side received a list of Kazakh tour operators authorized to host China citizens. At the same time, China has provided a list of local tour operators, responsible for the formation of tourist groups, traveling to our country, and informed that proceeded to notify the competent authorities of China on early implementation of this memorandum with Kazakhstan.
It is expected that the first Chinese tourist groups will arrive to Kazakhstan from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
In addition, on May 20, 2016 the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China is planning to hold a road show with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of investment of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC "NC" Astana EXPO-2017 ", the major tourism operators of Kazakhstan and China. The main topics of the meeting will be tourist and investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan, travel of Chinese tourist groups to the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of the memorandum, participation of Chinese tourists at EXPO - 2017 and holding of the Year of Chinese Tourism in Kazakhstan.
China will take one of the largest pavilions at the forthcoming international exhibition EXPO-2017. In addition, China, along with other participants of the EXPO-2017, which have already officially confirmed their participation in the exhibition will be able to enjoy the benefits and preferences just as their families. The document was signed by the Head of State.
Kazakhstan creates incentives and benefits for investors, tourists. These matters are stipulated in the decision of the Government of Kazakhstan #190 dated by April 7, 2016.
"The citizens of the Commonwealth of Australia, Hungary, the Italian Republic, the Principality of Monaco, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Kingdom of Spain, Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Sweden, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, Federal Republic of Germany , the Republic of Finland, the French Republic, the Swiss Confederation and Japan during the period from 16th of July 2015 to 31st of December 2017 will enter into the Republic of Kazakhstan and exit from the Republic of Kazakhstan without a visa, if the period of their stay in the Republic of Kazakhstan does not exceed fifteen calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan ", says the resolution.
When applying for an extension of stay on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for more than fifteen calendar days for business purposes, the nationals of States specified in this list, the bodies of internal affairs issue single entry visas within the category "business" for up to thirty days. "In addition, we can provide single entry visas for up to 90 days – upon application of the authorized body on investments, confirming the status of the nationals, who are mentioned in the list.
