20 Kazakh producers have offered their products to residents of Omsk
A delegation from Kazakhstan in the format of a business mission visited the Omsk region in order to promote and to popularize domestic products on the Russian market
The organizers of the business mission is the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan together with JSC “KAZNEX INVEST”, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia, Consulate of Kazakhstan in Omsk and the Omsk region government.
20 Kazakhstani producers in the field of agriculture, food, building, chemical and packaging industries presented their manufacturing capabilities during the business mission.
As it was noted during the meeting by the Governor, Chairman of the Government of the Omsk region Viktor Nazarov, Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerlan Nysanbaev, both sides have a desire to deepen trade and economic relations, to help the business grow, including in such priority areas as agriculture.
"Kazakhstan is a large agricultural country. Branch is fully translated into a market model of governance, which made it very attractive for investors. There are good initiatives, we must give them acceleration in the context of the integration process within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. It is necessary to develop different formats of meetings, dialogue platforms", - said the head of the Kazakh delegation.
Another promising area of cooperation is fair exchange. Vice-Minister of Agriculture proposed a schedule of joint retail fairs.
The governor of the Omsk region Nazarov noted as a positive trend increase in the volume of mutual trade turnover between the Omsk region and Kazakhstan, and it is dominated by agricultural production and processing industries.
"We are interested in opening up new joint ventures and the development of trade relations. Our region is located at the intersection of major transport corridors, so the project established at the border area of a single logistics center for the organization of bilateral trade seems to us a very important and promising direction. Realization of the transit potential of the Omsk Region - is one of our priorities", - said Nazarov.

Deputy akim of North Kazakhstan region Mukhtar Mankeev expressed the idea of establishing a transport and logistics center at the border area by the experience of "ICBC" Khorgos ", acting on the Kazakh-Chinese border.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan Saltanat Akhanova stressed that today it is important to maintain momentum and to develop the export potential of our countries. The core of the entire work should be the creation of joint ventures, industrial cooperation, an example for this could be the cooperation between border regions of Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of agriculture and food industry. She said that the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan consolidated investment projects in Kazakhstan in a single register and is ready to present it to Russian partners.
Minister of Economy of Omsk Region Oksana Fadina expressed interest to the consideration of investment projects in Kazakhstan.
During the business mission Kazakhstani companies held talks with representatives of the business circles of the Omsk region, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Economy, construction, housing and utilities sector, Agency for development and investment of Omsk region.
Two contracts were signed between: the company LLP "Ekibastuz Pretzel" and LLC "Alfa-business" for the supply of restaurant and confectionery equipment and between LLP "Sagyp" and LLC "SibTrans" for the supply of koumiss in Omsk Region and other regions of Russia.
As a result of B2B meetings LLP “Amangeldy” intends to contract with Omsk retail distribution networks for the supply of fruits and vegetables.
Kazakh delegation visited a number of enterprises in the Omsk region - LLC "Milk", "Regional AgroCentre "Druzhina", "Combine porous materials"," Housing Development Fund "Housing".
As a result of visits to companies LLP “Emireit” AgroCentre proposed regional "teams" to organize joint ventures in Kazakhstan (greenhouse complex), and is ready to finance the project.
In addition, the Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the work of the Center of the Kazakh language and culture, and also held a meeting with the Kazakh community at the Consulate of Kazakhstan in Omsk.
