Almaty is champion of legalization
Residents of the largest metropolis legalized half a trillion tenge
The National Bank of Kazakhstan summed up the interim results of the legalization of funds. At the end of April, Kazakhstani residents legalized more than 590 million tenge, for which were opened 910 bank accounts from 1 of September 2014 to 28th of April 2016.
The press service of the financial regulator clarified that until November 2015 Kazakhstan legalized 84 million tenge. Increase in the amount of 506 million tenge was stipulated by simplification of rules for legalization of funds, and, in particular, the abolition of the requirement for the storage of money in the bank for five years and payment of 10% fee.
Leaders in legalization of money are Almaty, Astana, Karaganda region, Atyrau and South-Kazakhstan regions. And Almaty - is the undisputed leader in terms of legalized capital. Performance at the end of April 2016 amounted to 501 million 182 thousand 824 tenge. Astana legalized ten times less - 50 million 984 thousand 180 tenge.
