Foreign Trade Chamber held a seminar on the improvement of customs regulation in EAEU
At the site of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan was held a seminar "Customs and Foreign Trade in 2016: improvement of customs regulation in EAEU".
The representatives of state bodies and business associations of the Republic of Kazakhstan were speakers at the seminar, within the competence of which are the issues at stake: the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice of RK, JSC "Center for Trade Policy", the Union of Transport of Kazakhstan "KAZLOGISTICS" KazATO (Union of international road carriers), and other interested members of the party.
The event is aimed at raising awareness of Kazakhstani business community about the rules and customs of foreign economic activity in Kazakhstan.
During the workshop was held a lively exchange of views on the draft regulations of the Customs Code of the EAEU, aimed at acceleration and simplification of customs procedures, the terms of their entry. The participants also discussed the issue of customs duties in force in the EAEU: what products can be imported into Kazakhstan at rates below current duties, what actions should be taken when exporting such goods to other countries of EAEU and e.t.c.
The experts examined the possibility of Kazakh businessmen to protect their production in the WTO; the issue of registration of documents for delivery of goods in transit through EAEU states to Kazakhstan, alternative methods of delivery of goods in Kazakhstan, the advantages and disadvantages from the point of view of customs regulation and tax control rules for the import of goods from the EAEU countries.
