Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev praised the integration of the Kazakhstan-Russian business community and noted the important role of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" in this process. "Of course, we are close, we co-operate in all areas, the demand for the Kazakh-Russian business forum is very high", - said the Head of State, during the opening of the Forum. Nursultan Nazarbayev thanked the Russian President Vladimir Putin, who arrived to Astana to participate in the Forum - "for support and participation", as well as the Gof the two countries for the active work. The President of Kazakhstan also expressed gratitude to the leadership of NCE RK "Atameken", noting its active work in the consolidation of business interests and priorities. "Myrzakhmetov (Ablay Isabekovich, the Chairman of the Board - Ed.) heads our NCE. They did a good work in this respect", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

One of the main indicators of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Russia is the volume of trade. According to the Head of State, before it reached more than 20 billion dollars, but "now it reduced by 30%". There are several reasons, and they are all external - EU sanctions against the Russian Federation, the reduction in the cost of commodities. Despite of this, bilateral trade turnover reached 6 billion USD in the first half of the year.

"In these circumstances, we need today to give new impetus to the increase of turnover, there are all conditions for it", - said the President of Kazakhstan.

There is a growing activity of Russian companies in our country. Many Russian businessmen are already doing business in Kazakhstan, realizing long-term prospects, while the number of joint ventures exceeds 6000. The Head of State named as an example of big business the company "Asia-Auto", where it is expected to produce up to 120 thousand cars per year.

"We have more than 60 projects, as I was told, totaling more than 20 billion USD dollars, full support will be given from our side during their implementation. As you can see, vast experience in effective cooperation has been accumulated. At the same time there is also potential for the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation that has not been used", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Speaking of which, the President recalled the economic opportunities of the EAEU, which unites five countries. In addition, a free trade agreement was signed with Vietnam, there are similar integration with China, India, Egypt, Iran, OPEC countries. Under these conditions, the strategic objective is to allow for free competition of enterprises in the EAEU space. "This will contribute to the further harmonization of our legislation. This year, completed development of the new Customs Code of the EAEU, it greatly simplifies all customs procedures between the two countries. Common non-tariff measures are adopted. The parties agreed on phased creation of a single transport space, we purposefully form common playing rules for all manufacturers and investors", - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The Head of State stressed that investing in the economy of Kazakhstan, "Russian business will feel almost home in terms of conditions". "We will do it. All significant business initiatives find support and attention of the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Russia", - stated Nursultan Nazarbayev.
