Regional entrepreneurs are taught how to produce meat products

The Regional Chamber of entrepreneurs and the Centre of agricultural competence of NCE RK "Atameken" organized the seminar on the topic "The effectiveness of the processing enterprises, taking into account features of deep processing of meat." Training took place on the basis of LLP "KonEt" - Almaty former slaughterhouse. The seminar was attended by entrepreneurs, processors of meat of Zhambyl, Balkhash, Talgar districts and cities of Almaty and Kapchagai.

During the seminar the lecturer Kozhabek Tuleshova spoke about economic potential of the processing enterprises, the technological features of the production of meat products, introduction of new technology and modern types of equipment. In addition, participants received information on the state support measures and new opportunities during cooperation between market participants.

Entrepreneurs also shared their views and suggestions on how to improve the work in this industry. At the workshops, participants were demonstrated the organization slaughtering, cutting and deboning carcasses, they were introduced to the production line and advanced processing technology of meat, including methods of preservation. After all, for this purpose the model farm of LLP "KonEt" has all the necessary attachments, cutting, refrigerating equipment. Currently, LLP "KonEt" carries out the slaughter and preparation of meat in the amount of more than 150 tons per month, thereby providing jobs for more than 25 people. Products of LLP "KonEt" are mainly produced and sold in the form of fresh meat, sausages and canned food.

Many participants stressed the need for self realization of activity, according to the veterinary legislation, to carry out the slaughter of cattle in specially equipped areas or areas where there is necessary equipment to comply with all health measures in the production of finished meat products.

"In addition, the participants talked about the new developments in the regulatory legal acts, such as the presence of a veterinarian at a slaughter house, who is obliged to carry out inspection of livestock and the subsequent carcass to examine the animal health passport. After all, these measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of the environment and public health", - said the expert of processing meat and meat products Serik Tumen.

After the seminar the participants were given a certificate for completing the course. Note, 133 workshops for more than 2,000 representatives of farmers were held in Almaty region.
