Roadmap - against corruption
"Atameken" and the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption have joined forces in the fight against corruption and arbitrariness of local officials
The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption created a roadmap for the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation between the two organizations.
It should be noted that the agreement was signed by the parties in December 2016 at the republican forum of businessmen on combating corruption.
The Roadmap is envisaged for 2017 and, in general, aims to identify systemic problems and barriers to business development, the adoption of measures to prevent violations of the rights and interests of business entities.
There were planned measures to improve the mechanisms for public services, law enforcement standards and practices to prosecute public officials for undue interference in business activities.
The Roadmap includes questions on anti-corruption mechanisms in the field of quasi-public sector procurement, the mechanisms to ensure openness and transparency of decision-making in private organizations, and others.
The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Agency will carry out joint anti-corruption measures, the results of which will be considered at meetings and boards.
In particular, the analysis of corruption risks will be carried out from the beginning of 2017 in 16 areas and sectors, starting with the tax administration, ending with the veterinary inspection. This work will be carried out in the field, in all regions of Kazakhstan, regional chambers of entrepreneurs and Agency departments.
The National Chamber of entrepreneurs sent a letter to RCE to conduct public monitoring in these areas and industries. The monitoring will be carried out to collect information from available sources, including the treatment of entrepreneurs and non-governmental organizations, media and others.
