The Chamber of entrepreneurs conducted independent certification of college graduates with the involvement of large companies in the region
Graduates of Aktobe Technical College – soon to be chefs confirmed their qualification. The graduates prepared a variety of dishes and restaurateurs and chefs of catering organizations were members of the jury. The main expert was industry association - LLP "Certification Center of the hospitality industry" under the Kazakhstani Association of Hotels and Restaurants. The event was organized for further employment of graduates.
"Participation of employers in such procedures can significantly raise the level of vocational training of graduates and ensure its compliance with labor market needs. Certification of graduates – is an effective barrier against the poor-quality professionals and "empty" diplomas", - says the head of department of development of human capital of the Chamber of entrepreneurs Damilya Kunanova.
Graduates of vocational training, majoring in "baking, macaroni and confectionery production", and "Technology and organization of food production enterprises", were assessed. It should be noted, half of them are already working in the food service organizations. As part of the qualification examination novice cooks passed the theoretical stage, at which they passed the test. During the practical stage they competed in cooking dishes.
Aybolat Shympay is already working in one of the city's confectionery. In college, he trained under the grant. Talented chefs have taken note of some restaurateurs. "I understand that in the future the presentation of the certificate of competence to an employer will allow me personally to be among the popular and competitive", - said Aybolat Shympay.
After receiving the certificate, college graduates will be prepared for exams and defending of the project, which is scheduled for February next year.
