Eurasian transcontinental corridor: from Asia to Europe and back
The multimodal transport corridor will give the country an undeniable competitive advantage in the form of transit potential
This was stated by the managing director of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Dina Mamasheva in the field of transport and logistics at NCE at the meeting on implementation of investment projects.
One of the functions of NCE as defined by the law "On the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan", is participation in providing construction and maintenance of infrastructure of checkpoints by attracting investment.
Dina Mamashev stressed the importance of forming a network of transport and logistics centers, as one of the areas of implementation of 65 steps "Creation of multi-modal transport corridor" Eurasian transcontinental corridor", declared the Head of State.
The Address of the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev to people of Kazakhstan dated by 31st of January 2017 also focuses on the development of the new Eurasian logistics infrastructure, as one of the drivers of transit and export potential of the country.
Thus, in the framework of the signed memorandum between the National Chamber of Commerce and JSC “KTZ Express” on cooperation in the implementation and promotion of projects of transport and logistics centers, the joint work is underway on building an internal network terminal.
Executive Director of JSC “KTZH Express” Kairat Tapalov presented investment projects in the field of transport and logistics.
The successful example was the launch of the 1st in Kazakhstan TLC of "A" class in Astana (2015).
It was noted that this year the launch of TLC is planned in Shymkent and in the short term implementation of the project "Construction of TLC in Aktobe".
Thus, Kairat Tapalov addressed to potential investors about the interest of “KTZH Express” company in joint cooperation on the project "Construction of TLC in Aktobe".
Deputy Director General of LLP “KTZE-Khorgos Gateway” Belmaashi Hisham also made a presentation, who spoke about the prospects of realization of the investment project of FEZ "Khorgos - Eastern Gate", as one of the largest regional transport and logistics hubs at the crossroads of trade flows between China and Eurasian countries Union, Central Asia, South Caucasus and Europe.
