The order at "Khorgos"
Registration of tourist groups will be conducted in a special order at the International Center of cross-border cooperation "Khorgos"
Such an order was given by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Mamin in order to streamline the registration of tourist groups arriving at "Khorgos" (ICBC) by passenger trains and coaches.
Currently, to accelerate the procedure of customs control, and to prevent the formation of queues, the customs control of tourists, arriving at ICBC by passenger trains and intercity buses will be done separately by two corridors.
On 28th of November 2016 has been developed and approved the Regulations on the organization of passage of tourists, visiting ICBC through tourist companies, according to which the tourists arriving by buses through travel companies pass the border and customs control through certain corridors (included).
However, the registration procedure is carried out at an accelerated rate, as required information about tourists for border control authorities is sent in advance. Currently, buses have already started working on this circuit in a test mode.
