The document on the establishment of a joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed by the chairman of the board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" (NCE) Ablay Myrzakhmetov and the president of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarjioglu . "I am very grateful to my brother Rifat-bey, who came out with this idea, and today we signed it. I am sure that our colleagues will join the joint Chamber, and we can make it a joint Chamber with all my colleagues sitting here. Colleagues from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan will join, and we can make a single platform on which we will work", - said Mr. Myrzakhmetov at the fifth meeting of the Turkic Business Council on Monday. Ablay Myrzakhmetov noted that NCE is present in all regional and district centers, as well as mono-cities of the republic, serving the interests of business. He informed his foreign colleagues that all bills related to economic activity are compulsorily passed through the expertise of NCE. Only in 2016 more than 100 passed through their Chamber. He noted that logistics plays a big role in the cooperation of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. "Our countries are just along the Trans-Caspian way, and as far as I know, Rifat-bey, we were at a reception with the head of state, and the President was keenly interested in the road that will connect us with Turkey, and we expect this connection will take place. Basically, the Baku-Aktau transshipment works well, and Kazakhstan is now actively involved in the Silk Road with China. This would be another alternative route, not only through Russia, but through the Trans-Caspian" - he said. - We see how the Black Sea countries, in particular Ukraine, and all European countries are now interested in this corridor. He noted that the republic had great expectations of joining the Eurasian Economic Union, but in reality it faced competition from business from fraternal countries, as well as with administrative barriers. Against this background, the Kyrgyz business decided to work also with China and the Arab countries. "We are a small country, and I would not say that we have large volumes, but as they say, you can’t feed the whole world, but we can feed someone. Therefore, in this regard, the work has intensified in the Asian countries", - he said. The head of the CCI of Kyrgyzstan lamented on the difficulties of work in the conditions of a constant change of Government. "Just one such situation troubles us - the instability of the Government. President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Rifat Hisarjioglu noted that the Turkic-speaking countries need to move away from the raw materials orientation of the economies, developing industry. "The success that the availability of raw materials brings is not enough. The revenues that the extraction of raw materials bring can make the state rich, but not the people. Therefore, the most important thing is not only the successful development of the economy, but the welfare of the people", - he said. In addition, he recalled that the countries of Europe, united, were able to intensify their development. Nurzhan Altaev, Deputy Chairman of the Board, believes that with the participation of Turkic capital, companies can be established to export products to third countries. "Thermally processed chicken legs, we never produced them and did not supply them anywhere. This is a completely new product for us. We do not know the technology and so on. Involving other countries, we will now try to create this enterprise, and with this product we need to enter the Chinese market, where this product is in great demand. It can be produced as much as desired and supplied", - he cited. According to him, only Kazakhstani businessmen are very difficult to meet the demand for products from China and Russia. "Therefore, it is very important to cooperate with Uzbek, Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz and Turkish counterparts. Especially for some products, where we do not yet have experience, that is, we have never created such products. But such products are in Turkey, they have great experience, they create it, and here we need to cooperate with them, adopt this experience, technology. And, in principle, they are ready for this", - said Nurzhan Altayev. He noted that at present there is a huge demand from Arab countries for lentils, which are practically not produced in Kazakhstan. "Across Kazakhstan there are only three enterprises that grow lentils. Or in China, there is a huge consumption of chickpeas. It is a kind of leguminous plant, which we practically do not grow", - summed up the Deputy Chairman of NCE.
