Amendments to the law on ensuring the uniformity of measurements and standardization
On 19th of June 2017 at Atameken were discussed the amendments to the law on ensuring the uniformity of measurements and standardization as part of the discussion of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Ensuring the Unity of Measurements and Standardization", which were suggested by Kazakhstani Association of Organizations of Oil and Gas and Energy Complex "KAZENERGY" and presented by representatives of the business community of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the assurance of the uniformity of measurements, facilities and the scope of state metrological control, as well as proposals concerning normative documents for ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
The video conference was attended by representatives of JSC "National Center for Ecological and Environmental Studies", JSC "NC" KTZH", ALE "Association of Shipowners and Businessmen of the Marine Industry ", JSC "NAC Kazatomprom", ALE "KAZENERGY ", LLP NPP KazLabMetr, JSC KEGOC, RGP on PHV "Republican Veterinary Laboratory" KVKiN of MA of RK, LLP "Atyrau Oil Refinery", JSC "KazTransOil", ALE "Eurasian Industrial Association", LLP "Petroil", company "NCOC N.V.". During the discussion, various opinions were expressed on the improvement of the system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements, taking into account the opinion of the business community. At the moment, all proposals are considered and finalized by the meeting participants. The next meeting on the development of the consolidated position will be held in the near future, which will be reported additionally.
