Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed issues of SME development with entrepreneurs of Karaganda region
On 28th of July, as part of a working visit to Karaganda region, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with members of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", where issues of development of small and medium business in the region were discussed.
Chairman of NCE RK “Atameken” Ablay Myrzakhmetov, the director of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs of Karaganda region Yernar Kulpeisov, the director of LLP "Bureau for Privatization" Alexander Perov, the director of PC "ASPAP" Tolegen Ashimov, the head of the farm "Shygys" Shamil Osin, general director of LLP “Kazcenterelectroprovod” Sergey Kim, director of IPR and ALE "Association of builders of Karaganda region" Naila Kairbekova, director of LLP "Magnitka Kazameta" Andrey Vitik took part in the meeting.
They discussed at the meeting the issues of abolishing the differential tariff for utilities, the introduction of the eurocode system in place of outdated building codes and rules (SNIP), payments of investment subsidies to AIC, support of domestic producers in terms of reducing import customs duties on raw materials and compensation of costs for transportation of goods through the territory of Kazakhstan.
In addition, questions were voiced concerning the relationship of monopolists with consumers and constraining the development of business factors, primeminister.kz reports.
Minister of National Economy Timur Suleimenov, Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek and Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Isayeva commented on the topics raised by entrepreneurs.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the President of the country N. Nazarbayev put forward the task of developing entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan within the framework of forming a new model of economic growth in the address "The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness". In this regard, the Government pays close attention to issues of business support.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev emphasized that the technological modernization carried out in the country gives wide opportunities for involving domestic entrepreneurs in the creation of new productions and products. At the same time, businessmen can take an active part in the further development of such sectors of the economy as services and the economy of simple things. This, in turn, will create additional jobs for potentially released workers from other areas.
At the end of the meeting, Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the Government is always open to discuss issues of concern to the business community and urged entrepreneurs to take an active part in joint work to implement tasks within the framework of economic modernization.
