The II International Forum "Eurasian Week" is held in the capital

On 24th of August 24 the opening of the 2nd annual International Forum "Eurasian Week" took place at the Congress Center site within the framework of the "EXPO-2017" World Expo in Astana. The largest annual business event is aimed at developing the economy, investment and export potential of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. The forum will last from 24th to 26th of August.

More than 100 Kazakhstani enterprises take part in the forum "Eurasian Week". The Eurasian Economic Commission organized an interactive wall on which information on export-oriented companies was presented. The Forum addresses the issues of creating opportunities for the export of goods and services produced in the EAEU and investments in the countries of the Union.

Within the framework of the event, representatives of business, government agencies and experts discuss the creation of a competitive product and its output to the foreign market in the conditions of a dynamic change in technologies, production and logistics processes, and product requirements. The global themes are "Competitiveness in the current economic conditions: points of growth", "Unified markets for goods, services, labor and finance in the EAEU: present and future", "Future Economics: Strategic Directions for Business Development". The purpose of the event is the development of the economy, investment and export potential of the EAEU countries.

The program of the "Eurasian Week" includes 30 discussion events in 13 sectors of the economy, including a plenary session, round tables, panel discussions and master classes. The forum is traditionally divided into two parts: business program and exhibition. In the exhibition part, 43 companies from the countries of the Union will be represented. It is expected that the "Eurasian Week" will become an effective platform for establishing B2B-contacts, discussing tools and conditions created for business.

Participants from 24 countries are registered at the forum, including the countries of EAEU and the CIS, South-East and South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America.
