Forum platform – is exchange of practical experience between Kazakhstan and Russia
During the First Forum of Business Ombudsmen of Kazakhstan and Russia, Bolat Palymbetov, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, welcomed the participants of the event and stressed the importance of the Forum for both countries.
"Russia is one of our important economic partners for us. A lot of work has been done to interact with the Russian Institute of Business Ombudsmen. The Institute of Business Ombudsmen in Kazakhstan did not appear out of nowhere. First in 2013, the National Chamber was created, which united all business entities, the law on NCE RK "Atameken" was adopted. Then in 2016 the Entrepreneurial Code came into force, there was a separate chapter about Business Ombudsmen. Today, the National Chamber is an organization that defends interests in all sectors of the economy", - the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of RK said.
Bolat Palymbetov emphasized that in the border areas there are more opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in both countries.
"Sharing experience is always necessary and always useful. And such venues as today's Forum, contribute very much to making the exchange fruitful and effective. One of the goals of the Business Ombudsman is to assist entrepreneurs who are in a difficult situation. We also create conditions for Kazakh businessmen so that they know where to turn for help", - Bolat Palymbetov emphasized.
In his turn, Boris Titov, the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Russian Federation, noted similar tasks and goals between the two countries.
"Our countries face similar problems and challenges", - Boris Titov said. - This is the need to increase the share of SMEs in the economy, improve the conditions for the development of private business, elimination of excessive administrative control. It is interesting that in Kazakhstan, as in Russia, the main assistant in this struggle is the General Prosecutor's Office. There are also difficulties, but the authorities of Kazakhstan demonstrate a clear determination to get rid of them. The main goal of the forum is to study other people's mistakes and to find optimal solutions based on the experience of colleagues".
The speaker noted that the main task is to ensure that the rights of entrepreneurs are protected more effectively in both countries.
"For the Russian Federation, the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan in regulating business is the most important as it is implemented in a close legal system. We highly appreciate the initiative to reduce the control and supervisory functions. We want to take your experience, share ours. It is necessary that the cooperation of the Commissioners develops more closely", - Boris Titov concluded.
On 2nd of September I Forum of Business Ombudsmen of Kazakhstan and Russia was launched in Astana for the first time. It was attended by Business Ombudsmen of the two countries, representatives of NCE RK "Atameken", as well as a large delegation of the two countries.
