The social and educational project was implemented between the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Almaty region (Chamber) and educational institutions of Gansu Province. Last year, at the initiative of the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs in the Chinese province, a bilateral meeting was held, which resulted in an agreement on cooperation on student exchange from the Almaty region. In May of this year, a memorandum on cooperation between the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and three colleges was signed in Taldykorgan: the Jiuquan Vocational and Technical College, the Lanzhou Petrochemical College, the Landzhou Polytechnic College of Resources and the Environment.

Within the framework of the agreement, an educational project was launched to train workers "Going to China to get the working profession".

"The peculiarity of the project is that the guys go to receive working professions and everything is free for them. All these specialties are in demand in our country. Earlier, when we visited Chinese colleges, we were surprised by the level of training of the workforce. As you know, for China this is a priority and thanks to which they have become a leading country in the world economy. Therefore, we do not doubt that Kazakhstani students will receive a high-quality international education", - noted Almagul Ongarbayeva, the head of the human capital development department of the Almaty Chamber of Entrepreneurs.

Since the start of the project, more than 50 applications have been submitted to the Chamber from all over Kazakhstan. Currently, 24 young children from Almaty, Kostanay region, as well as Almaty and Astana cities have been selected and interviewed. Students will be trained in the field of tourism, IT, petrochemistry, veterinary science, welding, oil and gas exploitation, geology, finance and economics, metallurgy, electrical engineering, engineering measurement techniques. For 17-year-old Erden Ermukhamedov from Taldykorgan this is the first serious foreign trip. Earlier, he studied jurisprudence, but decided to learn a new and more popular profession.

"I chose tourism, because now this sphere is very popular and the market needs specialists. I will study management in tourism and I hope that my knowledge will be useful for the development of tourism in Kazakhstan", - the future student shared.

According to Svetlana Kozhevnikova the grandmother of one of the students, thanks to the training the country will receive highly qualified specialists.

"We are very pleased and thank the Chamber of Entrepreneurs for providing a unique opportunity for young people. Thus, you create good conditions for obtaining a quality education. We have high hopes for our guys and we believe that they will not let you down", - she said.

In the Middle Kingdom, education and accommodation for Kazakh students will be completely free. In addition, annually they will be paid a scholarship of 12,000 yuan. The term of study will be 3 years, including one year will be devoted to the study of the Chinese language. The academic year for students will begin in late October.
