Bakytzhan Sagintayev Support for SMEs is the most important priority for the Government

The Chairman of the Board of Atameken Ablay Myrzakhmetov drew attention to the key moments in the long-term development of entrepreneurship during his visit to Almaty. According to him, first of all, it is necessary to provide entrepreneurs with maximum access to information.
"Digitized, understandable information for business is needed. Back in 2015, in Almaty, a portal was launched, which contains all information about the general plan, the red lines. The business knew where to build, the business should have a beacon. Now it is necessary to include in it information on access to engineering networks - light, gas, water, etc. This requirement will be introduced from 1st of January to monopolists. Practically remotely, without going to akimats and CSP, the business will be able to receive information on tenders of land commissions. It is necessary to receive also contactless everything that is connected with the construction, changing the purpose, access to the networks. Such an experiment already exists in Kyzylorda, Mangistau, in Almaty the work is underway", - Ablay Myrzakhmetov said.
Also, the Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber touched upon the problem of demolition of non-stationary trade objects in the metropolis.
"About 1600 booths and trade pavilions were dismantled as part of the renovation of the architectural appearance of the city. It is clear that many of them were installed in violation of the "red line", a significant part of it are expired documents. A certain part was legalized according to new requirements, someone correlates documents, of course, there are those who left the market. We are now studying the legal issue carefully. We understand that the businessman is not to blame. Conditions, unfortunately, were previously such: issued documents without verification, the design did not agree and so on. We are for a civilized approach. Therefore, we will carefully analyze the legal consequences for business and the possibility of resuming work on the new rules, will take an active part in the development of the rules themselves. We set Astana as an example. They give permission for 7 years, coordinate design and place where you can put a kiosk. Therefore, the information about the master plan, which I spoke about, is very important for business", - Ablay Myrzakhmetov said.
In addition, the speaker offered the Almaty akimat idea of creating small industrial zones within the city. 90% of the city's GRP are services for which special areas can be envisaged. This experience is successfully applied in Turkey, a certain work on agricultural cooperatives is already under way in this direction. In addition, the Chairman of the Board of "Atameken" spoke about the work to increase the share of local content. In the first half of the year, purchases of state agencies and a quasi-sector were made in Almaty for a total of 392 billion KZT. This is the leading indicator. More than 1864 objects of municipal property were revealed. The proposals were sent to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan to include 92 additional objects into the Plan. Akim and Chamber of Entrepreneurs, in the end, decided to jointly implement the announced initiatives. Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the development of small and medium-sized businesses is one of the most important priorities of the Government's work, and the creation of favorable conditions for domestic entrepreneurs remains the main task.
