ABLAY MYRZAKHMETOV AND ZHENIS KASYMBEK BOUGHT DOMESTIC SHIRTS
The Republican contest-exhibition “The Best Goods of Kazakhstan” started in Astana, where anyone can purchase goods at producer prices
This year, 153 Kazakhstani manufacturers presented their products at the exhibition. All of them are winners of the regional stages of the competition.
“This year 1,163 companies participated in the regional stage and this is a record number. The National Chamber sets the most important goal of the exhibition to improve the quality and competitiveness of domestic producers,” - Ablay Myrzakhmetov, Chairman of the Board of the NCE RK "Atameken" said at the opening ceremony.
He recalled that in the Message the Head of State instructed to allocate 500 billion tenge to support domestic exporters and 600 billion to support manufacturers. About 20 billion will be directed to non-financial assistance of Kazakhstani companies, which includes facilitating access to new markets.
“We face serious challenges. This year, all work on non-financial support was transferred to "Atameken". To develop the export orientation of our business, we intend to cooperate with buyers, create laboratories to support Kazakhstani goods. Today, about 20 embassies of different countries take part in the exhibition, and this also underlines the interest in our products,” - the speaker said.
Ablai Myrzakhmetov noted that a new bill is currently being prepared, under which domestic producers will be able to receive preferences for entering the shelves of Kazakhstani supermarkets.
He also said that as of October 15, "Atameken" will open personal cabinets for 1 million entrepreneurs in test mode, where any businessman (mostly small and micro-business) will be able to receive all necessary services and consultations online, including information on exhibitions and companies that are looking for new partners.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek. He stressed that the contest "The Best Goods of Kazakhstan" is intended not only to update the quality issues, but also helps enterprises to increase competitiveness.
“Many participants and everyone can personally see how its competitors work, what quality of goods they produce. We see that every year the number of participants is growing, today 80% are new companies,” - the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek said.
At the exhibition, Ablay Myrzakhmetov and Zhenis Kasymbek familiarized themselves with the participants' products and even purchased shirts from the "Dalatex" company from Kyzylorda. The company has been on the market since 2016, the products are presented in retail networks of Kazakhstan, and also are being exported to Russia.
“We are pleased to be part of a large exhibition. Our shirts are not inferior in quality to expensive Turkish ones, but our prices are cheaper, from five thousand for a shirt. We think that we will succeed in winning a top place in this competition,” - Dinmukhamed Abizov, director of "Dalatex" LLP, shared his impressions.
At the “The Best Goods of Kazakhstan” competition manufacturers traditionally compete for the right to be called the best in three nominations. “The best commodity goods”, “The best consumer goods”, “The best food products”.
Any visitor to the exhibition can purchase products at producer prices. Also, guests will enjoy a demonstration of clothes, master classes, trainings and a prize draw (at 15.00 on October 12 and 13).
The event takes place in the exhibition center "Korme", 3 Dostyk Street.
