Kazakhstani businessmen participated in Trade and Economic Mission in Tatarstan
Kazakhstani entrepreneurs participated in the International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019". As part of the mission, Kazakhstani companies met with potential Russian partners and agreed on future deliveries.
Income company LLP, Karaganda producer of corn sticks and cereals, is among Kazakhstani participants of Trade and Economic Mission. The company's products are already distributed in all cities of Kazakhstan, its aim is to enter the Russian market.
“If you look at the map, Kazan is located right at the intersection of several major highways of Russia,” Rustam Nafikov, head of the regional development of Income company LLP, said, sharing his plans for conquering the Russian market.
Upon completion of the negotiations, four Russian distribution companies are ready to sign a contract with Income company LLP. After that, Karaganda products should appear in local retail chains.
In total, 20 Kazakhstani companies took part in the Kazan Trade and Economic Mission, representing food, electrical equipment, chemical products, children's products and other industries. They all met with potential buyers of their products.
“First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev set a goal to bring the level of trade between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan to 1 billion USD. According to our analytics, now this figure keeps at the level of 700 thousand dollars. The main flow of goods goes from Tatarstan to Kazakhstan. In order to increase exports from Kazakhstan, we brought our best producers,” Ayan Yerenov, chairman of the Board of the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, said.
The Kazan branch of the Trade Mission of Kazakhstan to Russia is also intended to promote the development of Kazakhstani exports to Tatarstan. “We provide all possible assistance to Russian and Kazakhstani companies,” Damir Adilbekov, deputy Trade Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation, said.
The trade and economic mission in Tatarstan was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan and the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan with the participation of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Kazan.
