Kazakh noodles sold in Kyrgyzstan
Kazakhstan products continue entering foreign markets. Another product that expanded its trade borders is Pervaya melnitsa’s egg noodles from Shymkent. It is sold in Kyrgyzstan.
On May 20, 2019, a Trade and Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan held in Bishkek as part of the official visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov.
Aibek Asanbekov, the founder of Free mark LLP from Shymkent, took part in the TEM. Two years ago, Aibek started production of egg noodles under the Pervaya melnitsa trademark. Shymkent enterpris is focused on export. In January of this year, Aibek presented pasta at Green Week in Berlin; today, the Shymkent manufacturer exports products to Russia and Uzbekistan. As a result of the trip to Bishkek, Aibek concluded a distribution agreement on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
“I think the interest of the Kyrgyz partners to our macaroni products is understandable. Kyrgyz consumers have similar taste preferences with Kazakhs, they also love beshparmak and lagman. Our noodles are perfect for cooking these dishes. Moreover, our noodles consists of organic ingredients, this is what makes its taste “homemade”,” he said.
In total, 16 Kazakhstani manufacturers working in engineering, pharmaceutical and food industries, including such companies as Kazakhmys, Saryarka AvtoProm and Tsesna Astyk concern, took part in the Trade and Economic Mission. Kyrgyz side was represented by more than 50 businessmen and representatives of state institutions.
During the event, the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs signed an agreement on cooperation in order to expand and protect Kyrgyz-Kazakh economic cooperation and fruitful effective teamwork.
Trade and Economic Mission is organized by the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan, Atameken National Chamber of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
