Businessmen restored Ivan Zhurba School in Arys
Businessmen have also built a new modern stadium.
On September 1, the restored school opened in Arys. The school is located near the military unit, its arsenal exploded and destroyed buildings and houses in this town on June 24.
Remind that businessmen Timur Kulibayev and Kairat Boranbayev arrived in Arys immediately after the opening of the city. Together with the akim of Turkestan region Umirzak Shukeyev they got acquainted with the scale of the damage, after which they decided to restore the most socially significant objects - a school and a kindergarten. Timur Kulibayev and Kairat Boranbayev allocated one billion tenge for these purposes. This initiative was also supported by Halyk Bank's charitable foundation. Despite the tight deadlines, classes at the Ivan Zhurba school began on Knowledge Day in Arys. The regional and city authorities, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the Atameken NCE RK Lazzat Ramazanova participated in the solemn opening of school.
"Today, thanks to the support of the authorities and entrepreneurs, the usual warmth and comfort return to your homes. The most important thing is that you meet the Knowledge Day in a renovated school, and sit at the desks with smiles on your faces. May each of you grows up to be a good citizen of our country,” Lazzat Ramazanova said.
In turn, the administration of the region and city, the administration of the school, as well as parents of schoolchildren expressed gratitude to businessmen Timur Kulibayev and Kairat Boranbaev for the restoration of the school, and a new, modern sports court for schoolchildren. We would like to remind that new desks and cabinets in each class became an additional bonus from businessmen, the equipment of a canteen and a gym was renewed. On September 1, 16 fully restored schools opened their doors in Arys, 12,000 children sat down at desks, 2.5 thousand of them went to the first grade.
