Yuliya Yakupbayeva appointed Deputy Chairperson of Atameken’s Board of Directors
By the decision of the Presidium of the Atameken NCE RK Yuliya Yakupbaeva has been appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Board.
Yuliya Yakupbaeva was born in 1977 in Almaty. She graduated from the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in Finance and Credit. She has twenty years of work experience, starting as a specialist she advanced to the position in top management.
She worked in the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, Atameken Union National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan. She worked as Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (October 2014 - April 2019).
She headed the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan (February 2017 - August 2018). She held a position of an Independent Director of the Board of Directors of such companies as Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund JSC, National Agency for Technological Development JSC, Kazakh Tourism JSC. She was a member of the Management Board of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since 2017, she has been a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Health.
From April to September of this year, she held the position of Advisor to the Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She has several state and public awards. She was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Jubilee Medal for the 20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Merey Public Order of the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, the 2nd degree medal of the Atameken NCE RK for loyalty to the cause, etc.
Alyona Romanova, who held this position previously, has been appointed Executive Secretary of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
