On December 12, on the eve of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a solemn event was held with awarding badges of distinction.

The awarding ceremony was held in Nur–Sultan, where representatives of business, sports, oil and gas sector and energy were awarded high state awards: Parasat, Dostyk II degree, Kurmet, Enbek danky III degree, as well as Eren Enbegi Ushin badge and honorary diplomas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Chairman of the Presidium of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, KazEnergy association Timur Kulibayev noted the special importance of the main national holiday for each citizen of Kazakhstan, all those who gathered at the solemn event.

"It is a great honor for me to present state awards on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan. This year we celebrated the 120th anniversary of the oil and gas complex which is the locomotive of the economy, so today it is especially pleasant to congratulate veterans and employees of the oil and gas sector on this holiday and the well–deserved high awards. Over the years of independence, all the conditions for business development have been created on behalf of Elbasy. The contribution of the business community to the economic growth and prosperity of the state is growing every year. The republic needs to form an entrepreneurial class. In his message, the Head of State Kassym–Jomart Tokayev paid great attention to further business growth. The National Chamber, along with the support of the existing business, will continue to train and assist the beginners in their business, massively developing SMEs in the country. We are also proud of the achievements of our athletes in the global arena. They are defending the honor of our homeland, winning victories at the highest international level. In the coming year 2020, we will support them at all licensed competitions and, of course, at the Tokyo Olympics. I wish them success," Timur Kulibayev said.
