Karaganda IT Committee starts its work
The 1st meeting of the Committee of IT-technologies at the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Karaganda region was held. The established committee wants to approach conceptually to the state policy in the field of information and communication industry and intends to defend the rights of entrepreneurs at the proper level.
The Committee includes the Association of Information Technologies Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of IT-companies of Karaganda region, KSTU, local executive bodies.
"IT Committee is a consulting and advisory body. It was created to organize effective interaction of the business community with government authorities on issues related to the development of entrepreneurship in certain sectors of the Karaganda region," Yernar Kulpeisov, the Director of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region said.
At the first meeting of the Committee, the participants discussed a number of topical issues, such as staff shortages in the IT-sphere, government support in hiring employees without work experience, and interaction between employers and universities.
Alexander Doroshenko, the founder of Wooppay payment service, was elected as Chairman by voting.
The Committee intends to solve the problem situations faced by IT specialists. Today there are 8 committees at the regional council - construction and building industry, light industry, small, medium business and trade, agro-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, energy and housing and communal services, mining industry, tourism. Now they are joined by the Committee of IT-technologies, which will also have the opportunity to raise problematic issues and defend their interests.
