The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 9, 2006, № 194, announces the beginning of receiving applications for participation in the Altyn Sapa and Best Product of Kazakhstan competitions in 2020.

1. The Altyn Sapa Award, competition for the Prize of the President of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - the Award) is awarded on a competitive basis for the companies' achievement of significant results in the field of product quality and/or services, ensuring their safety, as well as for the implementation of highly effective methods of quality management by the organization (the presence of implemented management systems is mandatory).

Individual entrepreneurs and legal entities engaged in the production of goods and services (excluding the production of weapons and military equipment) in Kazakhstan may participate in the competition.

State-owned companies (if a government owns an effective controlling interest (more than 50%) and organizations that are subject to decisions on the implementation of rehabilitation and bankruptcy procedures are not allowed to participate in the contest.

The prize is awarded in three categories (small, medium and large businesses) in four categories:

the Best Service Provider, the Best Food/Farm Producer, and the Best Consumer Goods Producer.

1) The Best industrial enterprise;

2) The Best Consumer Goods Producer

3) The Best Service Provider;

4) The Best Food/Farm Producer.

The bidders shall confirm the high quality of products or services provided during the previous three years.

The contest is held during the year and consists of the following main stages.

1. E-submission of an application will be held by July 1, 2020, on the website: www.altynsapa.kz. and/or you may apply to the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs (hereinafter referred to as the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs). The acceptance of the application will be closed on July 1, 2020.

A legal entity or an individual entrepreneur wishing to participate in the contest shall execute and submit materials to the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs (hereinafter referred to as the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs) by July 1 in accordance with the Rules of registration, presentation and preliminary evaluation of materials of the contest participants for Altyn Sapa Presidential Award, the Prize of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 31, 2009, № 1167 (available at www.altynsapa.kz).

2. Carrying out the preliminary estimation by an expert group of the Atameken NCE RK, defining 40 finalists (August-October).

3. The expert group evaluates the finalists of the competition and visits the enterprises (October-November).

4. Meeting of the Commission for awarding the titles of winners of the Altyn Sapa Presidential Award and the titles of laureates of the Republican competition-exhibition "Best Product of Kazakhstan" on awarding 14 participants of the competition (December).

The laureates of the award are awarded the corresponding diploma, the logo of the competition and monetary reward of 450 monthly calculation indexes. The laureates are entitled to use the Altyn Sapa logo for advertising purposes for a period of four years.

2. The Best Product of Kazakhstan, the Republican Contest-Exhibition, is held annually to promote the activities of individuals and legal entities to improve the quality of domestic products and saturate the market of Kazakhstan with high-quality and competitive products.

The competition is held in three categories:

1)  Best Products for Industrial Purposes;

2)Best Products for the Population;

3) Best Food Products.

Three winners are determined in each category.

The Best Goods of Kazakhstan contest and exhibition is held during the year and consists of the following main stages.

1. Submission of an application in electronic form on the website: www.altynsapa.kz and in the regional chambers of entrepreneurs, within ten days before the date of the regional The Best Product of Kazakhstan competition-exhibition.

The schedule of carrying out of regional The Best Product of Kazakhstan competition-exhibition is made in coordination with akimats of regions, cities of republican value, and Nur-Sultan. It should be published on April 15, 2020, on the website www.altynsapa.kz.

The legal entity or individual businessman wishing to participate in competition, make out and submit materials in regional chambers of entrepreneurs at the location of the company and according to Rules of registration, representation and a preliminary expert estimation of materials and the production presented at the Best Goods of Kazakhstan, regional and republican competitions-exhibitions, confirmed by the decision of the Government of Republic Kazakhstan from July 31, 2009, № 1167 (www.altynsapa.kz).

Participation in the regional exhibition is an obligatory condition for further participation in the competition. Only 9 winners of regional contests become participants of the Best Product of Kazakhstan republican contest - exhibition.

2. The Republican Contest-Exhibition in Nur-Sultan will be held in October. According to its results, 27 finalists in three nominations are determined by the expert group of the Atameken NCE RK.

3. 27 finalists (October 15-25) participate in online voting at the third stage.

4. Meeting of the Commission for awarding the titles of winners of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Altyn Sapa" and the titles of laureates of the Republican competition-exhibition "Best Product of Kazakhstan" on awarding 9 participants of the competition for the titles of diplomats of the Republican competition-exhibition "Best Product of Kazakhstan" (December).

The contest diplomats are awarded a diploma and an emblem of the contest. The diplomats receive the right to use the logo of the Best Goods of Kazakhstan contest for advertising purposes within four years.

The award ceremony of the contest winners is held annually in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To consult potential contest participants, free training seminars are held annually between April and June on the procedure for holding contests and on the rules of design of contest materials. The dates of the training seminars will be available at www.altynsapa.kz in March 2020.
