The evacuation centers for victims of Arys explosion are operating in Shymkent. A group of volunteers from the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs of Turkestan and Shymkent coordinate the work at 13 evacuation centers. Since the time of the emergency, 15,557 people have been registered there, including 5,471 children.

For all evacuees, the Chamber's staff organizes meals and medical assistance and also employs psychologists to provide consultations. A 15-seat vehicle is used to transport people. 1,500 children and women are provided with the first necessary things, and additional food delivery is organized for more than 800 people at the station. A reception centre for victims has been opened in the Turkestan province. The address of the headquarters is 83/1 Kunaeva Avenue, Shymkent, and a hotline at 8(7252) 39-49-90.

According to the staff of the regional chamber, the regional organizations provided the necessary provisions at all evacuation points. The staff of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Turkestan region purchase goods on receipt for the evacuees in the Alash, Samal and Verhny rynok markets. Over the last two days, goods worth over 780 thousand tenge have been purchased in the markets.

Employees of the Regional Chamber of Shymkent and Turkestan from the first days help lost children and their parents to find each other.

"On the first day of the tragedy, parents who lost two children at once called the Chamber's headquarters. The photos of the babies were dropped off. Staff members immediately notified the emergency situations, the police and sent out an orientation letter to all the networks’ chats, called all the evacuation centers. The children were found in one of these centers. Two more little brothers and sisters were found in the same way," the employees of Regional Chamber said.

The hotline of the headquarters, organized by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, receives up to 300 requests a day. The Chamber employees are in constant contact with evacuation volunteers. A dormitory has been organized in the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum in Shymkent for 100 places for large families. In turn, the city's entrepreneurs organized the possibility of free access to baths for evacuees. In addition, the employees of the Chamber have independently made portable shower cabins for evacuation points. The initiative was supported by volunteers in other locations.

The chairman of Menin Atamekenim NGO Lyazzat Chingisbayeva told about the distribution of funds.

"When people return their homes and have Internet access, we will receive videos and photos of houses from the affected people to see and understand the consequences and the amounts needed to eliminate them. Naturally, a special commission will be created, which will include representatives of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Regional Council. The commission will make decisions on the distribution of the collected funds. We offer the residents of Arys to visit our website atamekenim.kz and register a request for help. In this way, the Committee will be able to see what specific assistance a particular family needs. As we receive requests, we will make analysis so that everyone who has transferred money to us can see that their distribution is efficient and purposeful. We are accepting applications, which the residents of Arys send via smartphones," she said.

Meanwhile, the entrepreneurs continue to provide support to victims. The enterprises of Turkestan and Shymkent are particularly active.

"Businessmen, who responded from the very first hours of the tragedy, immediately began to bring groceries, things, dishes, clothes and transfer money. Entrepreneurs are also ready to help with the reconstruction of houses in Arys. For example, the construction company Alina provides paint, dry mortars and other building materials for repairs worth 20 million tenge, and the carpet factory Bal Textile has volunteered to provide each Arys family with carpets. Some entrepreneurs, including members of the Regional Council, have undertaken to repair destroyed houses. I know a lot of businessmen who have made a significant contribution and do good deeds anonymously," Nurlan Kabishtayev, director of the Shymkent Chamber of Entrepreneurs, said.

In addition, large companies of the city, such as Khimfarm JSC and Magnum sent foodstuffs, clothes, hygiene products for 3 million tenge. Khimfarm company allocated the necessary medicines for 2.5 million tenge, which were delivered to the evacuation points. Private hotels, Gramad Trading House and Madlen confectionery provide hot meals for evacuation points.
