Foreign economic activity
LLP "Foreign Trade Chamber" (FTC) was established on July 29, 2014 and is a 100% subsidiary of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mission of FTC is to contribute to the development of Kazakhstan by assisting the Kazakh enterprises in foreign trade. Activities of FTC include 4 main areas: the promotion of external economic relations, information work, legal support and development of business education.
As part of the development of foreign economic relations, FTC will organize trade and economic missions, business meetings of foreign and domestic entrepreneurs, exhibitions and fairs, assistance to foreign companies - potential investors in order to attract them for participation in Kazakhstani projects, creation of joint ventures. FTC is the focal point of bilateral business councils. Information work is based both on internal resources and network of established partnerships, and on a single information system of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, covering all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Legal support of business includes consultations on the Kazakhstan and international legislation, certification of foreign documents, etc. In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, FTC is the only organization in the country authorized to provide testimony of force majeure. As part of the development of business education, the Chamber conducts seminars, modular training courses, workshops and other activities to secure the trained staff for business entities.
In its activities FTC is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its relevant laws and other regulatory legal acts, international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan, the normative regulations of the Constitutional Council and the Supreme Court, by the Charter of LLP "Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan"

Force Majeure
In accordance with the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan" from July 2014 in connection with the liquidation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan its functions in the field of foreign economic activity, the testimony of force majeure (force majeure), were transferred to a specially created subsidiary organization of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan - Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.
Circumstances beyond one's reasonable control are divided into force majeure and “hardship”circumstances:
1. force majeure are extraordinary and unavoidable circumstances which prevent or make it practically impossible to perform obligations, for the occurrence of which the obligated party isn’t liable, and the onset of which could not be predicted and / or prevented, including, but not limiting to:
• natural disasters of natural and manmade character, hurricanes, cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, destruction by lightning, etc .;
• war, declared or undeclared war, unrest and revolution, piracy, sabotage;
• the decisions and / or actions / inaction of government agencies, etc .;
• boycotts, strikes and lockouts in any form, delaying the business, entailing a stop at work;
• explosions, fires, destruction of machinery, plants, plants, etc.
2. “Hardship” circumstances include the situation where a substantial change of circumstances independent of the will of the parties, make the execution of a contract (agreement) unnecessarily burdensome.
The absence of relevant goods at the market, hindering the execution of works or services does not refer to force majeure and “hardship” circumstances.
