A meeting of the EEU Industrial Cooperation Project Office chaired by the member of the Board, Deputy Chairman of the Board of NCE RK "Atameken" Yulia Yakupbaeva was held.

The organizers presented the Eurasian Economic Commission (the EEC) project on the creation of the Eurasian Network of Industrial Cooperation and Subcontracting and the Eurasian Technology Transfer Network at the meeting.

The project aims at the the creation of processes and tools to support industrial cooperation of enterprises and companies on the EEU territory. It will further help to find partners and suppliers, subcontracting and technology transfer among the participants.

In 2017, a prototype of the Eurasian network was created in Russia - the State Information System of Industry, which has electronic platforms and a showcase of services for cooperation of enterprises. Over the past year, the transactions of 1.3 trillion rubles were made on the e-platform of the State Information System of Industry. In 2019, the developers are going to implement the project within the EEU. It will be implemented in two stages: pilot and industrial operation.

“The project developers plan that all enterprises of the EEU member-countries will be digitized and included in the Atlas of Industry. The Atlas of Industry will make possible for businessmen to search for partners and build a cluster approach, logistics chains, etc. It will be useful in many other ways of interaction between enterprises in the EEU,” Yakupbaeva said.

In turn, the Kazakhstan Association of IT-companies announced issues related to the technical implementation of the project and the operation of the system, the issues of the national and supranational segment and the conditions for the economic entities’ participation in the platform as well.

Yulia Yakupbaeva called on Kazakhstani businessmen to take an active part in EEC activities within the framework of industrial cooperation of the EEU. As of today, only four Kazakhstani companies represented themselves on the platform of the Eurasian Network of Industrial Cooperation and Subcontracting and the Eurasian Technology Transfer Network.

It was also reported that in the framework of industrial cooperation, NCE "Atameken" takes an active part in the meetings of the expert group in the field of industrial production for railway transport.
