The EEC will discuss the rules of the Customs Code of the EAEU

At the 16th meeting of the Working Group on the improvement of customs legislation, which will take place on 10th of  November 2015 in Moscow, to discuss a number of disagreements in the drafting of the Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union (classification, risks, confirmation of the country of origin, and others.).

The Working Group will also discuss:

1. The proposal by the Russian Federation for inclusion in the draft Customs Code of the EAEU of the rules related to the organization of control over the goods to be labeled in accordance with the Agreement on the implementation of a "pilot" project for the introduction of labeling control (identification) signs on the heading "garments, clothing accessories and other articles of fur” in 2015-2016;

2. The peculiarities of the procedure and conditions of moving the goods for personal use through the customs border of the Union.

In the period from 11 to 20 November of 2015, there will be held the 17th meeting of the Expert Group on the preparation of the draft Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union, at the following address: Letnikovskaya Street, 2, entrance 1, building “D”, office 702 and 726.

During the meeting the Expert Group will discuss the position of the Member States of  EAEU on the proposals and comments by sections 4, 6 - 8, Chapter 37 - 40, 42 section 5 of the draft CC of EAEU, application number 1, 3 and 4 to the draft CC of  EAEU, finalize these sections, chapters and appendices to the decisions taken by the Working Group and to discuss a new chapter "Peculiarities of the procedure and conditions for movement of goods across the customs border of the Union, which are transported from one part of the customs territory of the Union to another part of this territory through the territory of a non- member of the Union" of the draft CC of EAEU.
