Nursultan Nazarbayev: "Atameken" expresses the opinion of the business community”
The Head of State stated this at the meeting with the leadership of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken"
At the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidium of NCE RK Timur Kulibayev and the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber Ablay Myrzakhmetov informed the President Nursultan Nazarbayev on the results of the work of the National Chamber in 2015 and its plans for the coming period, reports the press service of Akorda.
The President of Kazakhstan noted that a lot of work has been done since the establishment of the National Chamber in 2013.
"Atameken" expresses the opinion of the representatives of business. The Chamber took part in the implementation of numerous measures taken by the government to support small and medium-sized business. About 80 laws were adopted within the frames of five institutional reforms, to the development of which the Chamber contributed as well. Today is time for their implementation", - he said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed to ensure the maximum interests of domestic business in the privatization process, to conduct active explanatory work regarding the legalization of property.
The Head of State noted the importance of the promotion of goods made in Kazakhstan, including foreign markets, and pointed to the need for NCE RK "Atameken" to focus more intensively on attraction of investment, agricultural cooperation, employment and training in rural areas.
In turn, the leadership of the Chamber said that business support centres, operate in 188 regional centers, single industry towns, small towns. Currently, on their basis assistance was provided to over 212 thousand entrepreneurs.
It was pointed out that the National Chamber of entrepreneurs is actively involved in improving the business environment through the normative work and the protection of business. So, more than 6.9 thousand normative legal acts have been examined this year, including more than 200 draft laws. 9.6 thousand complaints were received from entrepreneurs, 41% of which was positively resolved.
In addition, within the system of procurement and local content since 1st of August 2014 with the assistance of NCE RK "Atameken" were concluded 750 long-term contracts with domestic manufacturers for more than 334 billion tenge.
