Timur Kulibayev "We are ending the year with confidence"

The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" will continue to support domestic investors and enterprises and will insist on the resumption of lending by second tier banks

This was announced today at an enlarged meeting of the Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken" by the Chairman of the Presidium Timur Kulibayev. It was held with participation of the Prime Minister Karim Masimov.

One of the main topics of today's meeting were the issues of monetary policy for the manufacturing industry. Speaking of which, Timur Kulibayev said that the representatives of "Atameken" held research of investment needs of enterprises in the regions. This is required in order to ensure that banks renewed loans for increase of the working capital, as well as for new projects. This information was the basis for the development of regional maps that "Atameken" prepared in cooperation with local administrations and the Ministry of Investment and Development. "If at the upper level this issue will be dealt with the Government, the commission, which acts as a working body of the Ministry of Investment and Development, it is proposed that at the regional level this issue will resolved by “Atameken” in collaboration with Akimat", - said Timur Kulibayev. He noted that "the work in 2015 was carried out, there is a selection of projects". It is important now to ensure that enterprises included in the regional maps, which will ensure new jobs and investment activity, could obtain loans. In this regard, "Atameken" counts on the Government’s assitance. "Karim Kazhimkanovich, I ask you to held a discussion together with the National Bank at the working level and to develop mechanisms to replenish the tenge liquidity. And at the same time to make that tenge liquidity doesn’t result in consumer lending, in exchange offices, but goes to the real economy in order to secure employment and expansion of production", - said Timur Kulibayev.

Commending the work of the Headquarters of NCE RK, the Chairman of the Presidium emphasized that "the work is conducted thoroughly and efficiently". Great dedication and energy of "Atameken" staff ensures expectation of positive results in the protection of the legitimate interests of business in 2016. Timur Kulibayev said that the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, "in fact, has become a good tool and a dialogue platform between regional, central authorities and the business community".

"I think that despite all the difficulties we are ending 2015 with confidence and we can withstand 2016. We will survive thanks to the huge support of the President, the Government, local authorities", - said Timur Kulibayev.
